Nottingham metal outfit Fahran (Fahran is pronounced like the first half of the word Fahrenheit) have just released their new video for “A Thousand Nights”. This video takes me back to my childhood in every good way possible! Back to the days of Jake E Lee’s Badlands and all of the glory of the late eighties metal scene but with such a modern twist that it’s firmly placed in the ground of the 21st century. The guitars are the key to this song. I love the counterbalance of the double guitar duties and how they compliment each other in an almost “point-counterpoint” style. The vocals soar with melodic bliss throughout the song and the rhythm section thunders with the power of rock. Well done!

About Fahran:
Fahran are from Nottingham and are:
Matt Black, Jake Graham, Joshua Ballantyne, Chris Byrne and Josh Fahran.

They have appeared at prestigious festivals including, Bloodstock, Download Festival, Hard Rock Hell, Isle of Mann TT races and toured with Heaven’s Basement, Kamelot, The Answer, UFO and many more.

With 2 successful albums, this is a band that has worked for all they have achieved, leaving them with a seasoned gravitas.

Fahran continue to forge a sound far greater than the sum of their parts that is reminiscent of no one and is entirely their own.
