Combining intricate guitar work and roaming rhythms, Benedict Trenches really manages to shine their talents out with their new upcoming EP titled “E.P. One”. The songs are delightfully varied and provoking almost to the point of sheer fascination. These are very introspective songs and really need to be heard in order to get the full effect as this EP is one giant art-house project full of creativity and diversity. Bravo!

About Benedict Trenches
Benedict Trenches is a fictional character. When we perform, we are that character. Imagine Damien Rice’s ‘O’, The Mars Volta’s ‘Frances The Mute’, Heck and Bright Eyes in a sonic mixer.

We are a hugely ambitious band, and have been gathering momentum since our beginnings early last year, having played Nottingham’s Horse Fest, as well as Beeston’s Party in the Park among many headline gigs at the Vic and the famous Running Horse. We have also been reviewed in local media HERE.

Our debut E.P is out on the 18th of March, with the single ‘Blank Slate’ available from the 4th.
