Ninefinger is a hard rock band that hails from the North Hollywood section of Los Angeles, CA. Their mission is to keep rock alive through their music and their powerful, live performances. Ninefinger draws its’ influence from 90s alternative rock and grunge as well as classic rock. They were influenced by such bands as the Doors, Nirvana, Soundgarden and Black Sabbath. Ninefinger gets its’ namesake from its dynamic singer, Mike Winney, who is Mr. Ninefinger. How he lost his finger is a whole ‘nother story for another place and time. Truth is, no one really knows how he lost his finger.

Joshua Picard, originally from New England, came to Los Angeles for music and acting. He and Mike co-founded Ninefinger after they met drummer, Buddha, through some mutual friends in the LA rock scene. Their high-octane live shows are always crowd pleasers and they make new fans wherever they go. Ninefinger has made a huge impact on the local, Los Angeles rock scene playing such prestigious venues as the Whisky a Go-Go and the Viper Room. They have toured the West Coast and Arizona.

Ninefinger is proud to have played for the US Armed Forces at different military bases as well. They have also dominated the Los Angeles airwaves, having songs played on radio stations such as the world famous 95.5 KLOS. Ninefinger songs have hit the UK charts and are even spun in New Zealand, Australia and the Philippines. Many of Ninefinger’s songs have become mainstays for the UFC, Ultimate Fighting Championship, featured on all their main events as well as Fox Sports’ UFC Reloaded shows.

Ninefinger is proud to have become one of UFC’s featured artists. They were also the featured band for the first episode of Vimeo and Indee Asylum’s new series, Indee Sessions, that will be appearing on Vimeo. Ninefinger just released their new EP, “Between Everything Else,” and will be mounting a tour in support including the Bring Back the Rock Music Festival in Johannesburg, South Africa as well as touring the UK and Baltics. They recently wrote the theme song for the hit podcast, Comics and Crypto, and are currently in the studio, working on their new album and look forward to playing more live shows soon.
