Nova Bloom have released their new video for the track titled ‘Rising Up’. That first listen to the song gives me the impression that Nova Bloom have been around a lot longer than they have actually been around. Everything within the song is there. From the hook to the harmony. The song demands attention. This is a band that does not have to try to get your attention. They just get it. That heavy chorus can get you by itself, but the verse already did.
The video is simply following the lead of the song. Style, chronology, and mood is set by the song and presented by the video. Taking all of that into account, what you now have, is a band that is what most bands and artist fail to realize: that they are also a brand. Nova Bloom get this. And that is why they are signature. Consider this article an ‘I remember when I saw them on Jammerzine’. Because that time is coming.
Formed in 2019, Wolverhampton Indie Rock trio Nova Bloom have hit the ground running with first three singles ‘Heavy Hitter’, ‘City Lights’ and ‘Out Tonight’ landing radio spins on Kerrang, Amazing Radio, BBC Introducing and securing placements on Apple Music’s ‘New in Rock’ and ‘Breaking Rock’ playlists.
Twin brothers Henry (Lead vocals, Guitar) and Tom Richards (Bass) along with drummer Kieran Shaw are now set to release their latest single ‘Rising Up’ on the 8th April.
‘Rising Up’ represents the band’s feelings towards the volatile world that they find themselves living in. Before they drew on teenage experiences but now they are looking outwards, viewing the world as a whole and wanting to make a change for what they believe in.
With signature anthemic choruses, dynamic instrumentation and a heavy hitting blend of classic Rock and Indie Pop, the band have cemented themselves as ‘one to be watched’ in the UK Indie scene.
