1. Turing Test Ha Ha Ha 2:20

Named for its three founder members, Ha Ha Ha have been playing together in various forms since the turn of the century, morphing to overcome barriers in space, time and, most recently, global public health emergency. While hard to categorise neatly, Ha Ha Ha’s catalogue covers rock, indie, synthpop, folk and at least one murder ballad.

Turing Test, the debut release from Ha Ha Ha, imagines a future where artificial intelligence has evolved to the point where it satisfies all of our needs. What’s left to do? Playing nimbly with the creeping dissatisfaction with digital interaction felt by many of us these days, Turing Test is an ironic and melancholic take on love and isolation. Delivered with panache, wit and retro stylings, it’s set to be an instant, synthpop classic.

Turing Test was produced by Matt Anderson.
