Jabbawoki has released their new album titled ‘Something’s Cookin”. Harking to the days when jam-bands truly jammed, Jabbawocki delivers an improvisationally infused original rock-packed set of varied power-punches that inspire musicians as much as it will entice potential fans. Each track lends its own personality that fuses each member of the band as a coherent unit on a musical assault. This is what happens when minds meld and sound solidifies.

About Jabbawoki

Something’s Cookin’ is the much-anticipated debut EP from Leeds locals Jabbawoki. The genre-melding EP features the single ‘Unkle Funkle’ which was released on the 22nd of May. A blend of Indie, Hip Hop, and Funk, the EP explores a combination of genres to produce a fresh, energetic and eclectic sound.

The EP WAS produced by Leeds-based producer Corey Moore which led to the tribal chants heard on ‘Propane’, the dark, synthesized vocal harmony of ‘Unkle Funkle’ and the harsh and gritty timbre of ‘Interlude’.

Influenced by artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Funky Destination, and Anderson Paak, this certainly isn’t your average Indie boy quartet.

The band has been gigging throughout Leeds and Yorkshire for several years, playing notable venues such as The Wardrobe, Brudenell Social Club and The O2 Academy.

“Very impressive set really liked their sound.”
