For fans of those indie bands of yesteryear like The Replacements, R.E.M. and Hüsker Dü (like me) then Trip Wire is most definitely for you! From the opening of “Fall Through” to the ending of “Giving You The Slip” you will be transported to those happier times when standing in your girlfriend’s yard at 6 AM with a boombox to get her attention wasn’t stalking but love. If I didn’t tell you this was a new album you would most likely think it was a classic, which it is. Every track is a hot spot in its own right. Bravo!
