No Sleep For Lucy is an Arena/Rock band based in Stockholm, Sweden. The band was founded back in 2012 by the childhood friends Kristoffer Sjökvist(bass) and Christian Rabb(guitarist). They headhunted Lukas Meijer as the singer and front figure of the band. Lukas was discovered singing at a party by Christians sister and No Sleep For Lucy was then complete. The band is recognized by their sing long friendly choruses, melodic guitar riffs and epic sound and energy on stage.
Funny note about the band name:
Lukas is interested in history, after reading an article in the newspaper about the first human ape LUCY, whose bones are traveling around the globe for examination. He was thinking to himself, poor her, there is “No Sleep For Lucy”.
