Brisbane Blues ‘n’ Roots musician Pat Tierney today releases the film clip for his brand new single Love We’re Looking For. The video follows a day in the life of the roots sensation and a slew of picturesque Brisbane locations. Directed, filmed and edited by John Skillington of Blueroom Productions the film clip offers a visual to Tierney’s warm, Australian soul.

Pat Tierney’s signature style and unique voice is showcased in his brand new track. It’s a bright upbeat track about finding yourself in a big city and the love you find when you are young.
Love We’re Looking For showcases the Weissenborn slide guitar in a big way and plays heavily on Pat’s unique style. Pat will release his brand new single on September 19 and his supporting tour treats fans to dates all the way through September.

Tierney still has some dates left on his tour – and will travel down the eastern coast of Australia delivering his invigorating and fresh style of roots music from Coffs Harbour through to Maroochydore with a launch show at The Zoo, Brisbane on Friday September 19.

“The song is influenced by the city, being young and finding your way a bit,” said Tierney about his new single. Featuring Bree Bullock on backing vocals and production by Nick Warren at the Seclusion Room Love We’re Looking For boasts a showcase of home grown Brisbane talent.

Fresh off recent performances at the 2013 Caloundra Music Festival, the 2014 Ocean St World Festival and support gigs with Mat McHugh (The Beautiful Girls), Sticky Fingers and Bonjah this new single demonstrates Tierney’s growth as an artist. Inspired by musicians including Ben Harper, Rodriguez and Harry Manx, Pat strives to deliver an engaging sound with his trusty lap slide guitar that will leaves audiences mesmerized.

The single is Pat Tierney’s first release since his 2013 single The World Don’t Owe You Nothin’. The single is out on iTunes and Bandcamp from September 19 and Pat’s tour takes place from 4th September – 26th September. More Details at Pat’s Facebook page – http://www.facebook.com/pattierneymusic.
